9 Easter Eggs From New Marvel Trailers

Disney gave all its fans something exciting today – brand new trailers for a number of shows, along with posters of new films and shows that are in the works. While we are dumbstruck at the trailers of Loki, WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and What If, we are more excited by the secrets they bring. Here we have some interesting Easter eggs from the upcoming shows that we could glean:

1. Captain America’s Shield Isn’t Being Used By Falcon

Even though the Captain himself passed the mantle of Captain America to the Falcon, the trailer shows that Sam (The Falcon) was unable to keep it for himself, and the shield now resides in a museum.

2. Flag Smasher’s Terrorist Group

The villains of Falcon & Winter Soldier appear to be Flag-Smasher, the who is a minor Captain America villain in the comics, who bitterly hates everything Steve Rogers stands for.

3. Zemo makes a comeback

Daniel Brühl reprises his role as Baron Zemo, last seen in Captain America: Civil War. He is seen grieving his family, but whose side he is on is yet to be determined.

4. The introduction of US Agent

Presumably chosen by the US government, US Agent might take on the role of the next Captain America. In the comics, he is shown to be a dangerously unstable man, but how it plays out in the show is yet to be seen.

5. Black Widow in Loki?

The Loki trailer shows a woman with short hair who looks eerily similar to Black Widow. Whether she really is Black Widow or not is best left to speculation, but seeing as both Loki and Black Widow are set to release next year, it might hint at cross-promotion.

6. Loki Is D.B. Cooper

In 1971, a man who came to be known as D.B. Cooper hijacked a Boeing 747 flight from Portland to Seattle and held its passengers hostage for a ransom of $200,000. He received his money and jumped out of the plane with a parachute never to be seen again. This face of the famous HBO documentary The Mystery of D.B. Cooper is revealed to be none other than Loki himself.

7. Post-Apocalyptic New York

Loki is shown to have landed in a post-Apocalyptic New York in the trailer, with a destroyed Avengers tower on the verge of falling. We have yet to know what version of Earth this is, but it shows a possibility of a multiverse and all of its endless possibilities.

8. The Mind Stone is back?

In the WandaVision trailer, the Mind Stone makes a comeback. Whether it’s memories she’s relieving or the warped reality she is in (which might be due to PTSD), the existence of the mind stone is confounding to say the least.

9. ‘What If’ might be the weirdest of all MCU!

In What If, Peggy Carter is Captain America, Dr. Strange is a villain, T’Challa is Star Lord and Steve Rogers (OG Captain America) is a zombie. This upside down universe will answer the wackiest ‘What If’ theories, and we honestly cannot wait.
