Radhika Apte went from a small theatre artist to huge success over the years. Her hard work and perseverance can be credited for the same. She made a home in everyone’s heart with her amazing acting skills. She was also called the Netflix girl since she was seen in every other film/series released by Netflix.
She has also given us memorable films like Padman, Andhadhun, Shor in the city, Raat Akeli Hai, and many more to add to her list. Be it a full-fledged role or a blink-and-miss moment, she makes sure that her presence stays in the mind of the audience forever.
Not just her films, she is also known for her classy yet savage replies to trolls and to people who try to bring her down. She is stylish, gorgeous, and everything that a woman needs to be.
But recently she is in the limelight. But guess what Twitterati demands Radhika Apte’s ban! Yes! Now, this is no secret that Twitter users find one or the other way to ban celebrities and movies, and this time they have found a reason to say “BOYCOTT RADHIKA APTE” I am sure the reason is going to blow your mind.
Well, she is trending because of her old pictures from her old movie Parched. Yes! A movie that was released in 2016! Her love-making scenes with Adil Hussain have caught the eye of the public all of a sudden and now they are accusing Radhika Apte of working against the Indian culture.

Bollywood is destroying Indian Culture #BoycottRadhikaApte
Some even raised questions and asked why Bollywood celebrities are quiet on the Raj Kundra case. Have a look.

Let us tell you that Radhika Apte had spoken about this scene to Grazia magazine. She was then quoted saying, “ It wasn’t easy because I was contending with my own body image issues at the time. So, having to be nude on screen was a little intimidating. Now I can bear it all anywhere. I’m proud of my body shape and size. Of course, that film went to so many places and that led to more work and appreciation. I really needed a role like this because when you’re in Bollywood you’re constantly told what to do with your body and I always maintained that I would never do anything to my body or face.”
Apart from this let us remind you that a nude clip was released from the same film and Radhika was horrified because of the same. She had defended herself saying that the script needed it. She couldn’t step out of the house for many days.
Well, do you think demanding to boycott any actress for the kind of roles they decide to do is right? People have the right to make their own choices, then why are we the ones to raise fingers at them? Radhika Apte being trolled and criticized for her role makes no sense. She just did what the script demanded!
