We get that education is important, but the major problem in India is that many Indian parents push their push into unwanted fields, which is why many of us (including me) end up with engineering or medical degrees without any interest in them. While some of our beloved Bollywood celebs have completed their education in their favourite fields before starting their film journey, there are many that never graduated. It’s a surprising list, honestly.
1. Alia Bhatt
This cutie did her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai, but did not go to any college; instead, she started her Bollywood career with Student of the Year.

2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
After scoring 90% in her 12th exams, Aishwarya considered a career in medicine, but decided to become an architect. She even got herself enrolled in Sansad Academy of Architecture, but dropped the idea to become a model.

3. Aamir Khan
Aamir completed his 12th from Narsee Monjee College, and then decided that acting was where he was going to shine. He began working in short films as well as working as an assistant director.

4. Akshay Kumar
Akshay took admission in Guru Nanak College, but dropped out to go to Bangkok to pursue martial arts. He even taught martial arts when he came back to India, but his path eventually led him to the film industry.

5. Deepika Padukone
This brilliant actress completed her schooling from Mount Caramel, Bengaluru and gained admission in IGNOU for her graduation. She had to drop out as it conflicted with her modelling assignments.

6. Kareena Kapoor Khan
Kareena, after finishing her pre – graduation education from Mithibai College, enrolled herself in Government Law College, but dropped out after a year after realizing that she was more interested in acting.

Kajol started working in the film industry since she was 16, and could not complete her education. She later stated that she regrets not having gone back to complete her schooling.

8. Katrina Kaif
Because Katrina and her family moved a lot, she was always home-schooled by her mother. As she started modelling at a very young age, she couldn’t complete her education.

9. Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Priyanka completed her school at the Army Public School in Bareilly, and dreamt of becoming a criminal psychologist. After winning Miss World, she decided to focus on acting and did not end up graduating.

Ranbir completed his pre- university education from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, but went on to learn filmmaking in NYC. He did not graduate, but started working as an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
